Annual Passes are multi-use passes that grant parkgoers admission into Universal Orlando’s theme parks throughout the course of a year.

There are four tiers of Annual Passes at Universal Orlando, each granting guests certain perks, including admission to special events, discounts on additional park tickets, shopping, and dining, and access to exclusive passholder benefits.

Depending on the pass, benefits apply at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, Volcano Bay, and Universal CityWalk.

Each Annual Pass also gives visitors exclusive offers at Universal Orlando hotels.

Most Annual Passes have blockout dates for admission that vary depending on which one parkgoers buy.

For more information on what Annual Passes have to offer, guests can check out Universal Orlando’s official website.

Annual passes are divided into four categories: the Seasonal Pass, the Power Annual Pass, the Preferred Annual Pass, and the Premier Annual Pass.

When selecting Annual Passes, guests can choose whether they want a 2-Park Pass or a 3-Park Pass.

Starting from the date of first use, all 2-Park Passes offer visitors 365 days of park-to-park admission into Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

3-Park Passes are also valid for one year from the date of first use, and provide park-to-park admission into Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and, depending on the weather, Universal’s Volcano Bay.

All passholders also receive access to the Passholder Lounge located in Universal Studios Florida.

Please note that blockout dates apply for certain Annual Passes.

Seasonal Passes

The perks of a Seasonal Pass vary from year to year, and the up-to-date list of benefits is posted on Universal Orlando’s official website.

Generally speaking, Seasonal Passholders receive discounts on hotels, car rentals, and multi-day admission tickets bought at the front gate, as well as admission to special events like Mardi Gras and the Holidays.

All posted benefits and discounts are subject to availability and can change without notice.

Seasonal Passes also have certain blockout dates, where guests cannot use their passes for admission to the parks.

These blockout dates are listed on Universal Orlando’s official website

Power Annual Passes

The benefits of a Power Annual Pass can change yearly, and guests can find the current perks on Universal’s official website.

Power Passes typically include 50% off regular daytime self-parking (after the first visit), discounts on hotels, car rentals, multi-day admission tickets bought at the front gate, and admission to special events like Mardi Gras and the Holidays.

These discounts are subject to availability and can be changed without notice.

Like Seasonal Passes, Power Annual Passes are subject to blockout dates.

Blockout dates specific to Power Passes are posted on Universal Orlando’s website.

Preferred Annual Passes

Preferred Annual Passes offer Passholders a year of discounts on hotels, car rentals, multi-day admission tickets, and dining and shopping at select locations in the parks and CityWalk.

These Annual Passes also include admission to select events and concerts, free self-parking after the first visit, and Early Park Admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure (though blockout dates apply).

The most up-to-date information about the perks of Preferred Annual Passes is available on Universal Orlando’s official website, but, like all things, these benefits are subject to availability and change.

2-Park Preferred Annual Passes do not have blockout dates for park admission; however, 3-Park Preferred Annual Passes do.

Blockout dates for these passes are available on the Annual Passholder Blockout Dates webpage.

Premier Annual Passes

The Premier Pass offers the most perks out of all Annual Passes.

They include all the discounts and benefits of the other passes but offer better deals and more options.

The best reason to consider a Premier Annual Pass is Early Park Admission and the Universal Express Pass included with the price.

Premier Pass Express Passes are valid after 4 pm and are accepted once per ride per day at Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Island of Adventure.

On top of this, the Premier Annual Pass is the only one that isn’t subject to blockout dates.

Premier Pass benefits change yearly and are subject to change without notice.

Guests curious about the perks of a Premier Pass can check out Universal’s official website.
