Disney World Outfit Sparks Social Media Storm: The Snow White Controversy
Thousands of Disney Parks fans, especially parents, have been outraged by a recent Walt Disney World Resort guest’s outfit choice. The controversy erupted after a woman posted a photo of her Snow White Disney Bound, sparking a social media firestorm.
What is Disney Bounding?
Disney Bounding is a clever way for adult guests to wear costumes to Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Since the Disney dress code bans costumes for guests aged 14 and over, to maintain the magic and prevent kids from confusing guests with real Disney characters, adults have found a creative loophole.
By creating Disney character-inspired outfits from regular clothing and accessories, Disney Bounds are acceptable within theme park rules–and they’re also much more comfortable!
The Snow White Disney Bound

Influencer and model Sam Paige (@sampaigepix on Instagram) recently visited Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT in a Snow White Disney Bound. Known for sharing her stylish outfits, Paige couldn’t have anticipated the backlash her photos would receive.
The Social Media Outrage
Paige posted six photos taken in EPCOT’s Germany World Showcase Pavilion, but the second image set off a wave of negative comments. The most popular comment came from @bonita_eli, who wrote,
“Girl seriously that 2nd photo 🙄 you’re in Disney not the beach 🤦🏼♀️ time and place man.”
Other commenters echoed this sentiment, with @rubymichellee saying,
“Cheeks out at Disney is crazy,”
and @khayes11464 adding,
“I normally adore everything you do but that skirt isn’t appropriate at Disney parks.”
Some supporters gently expressed their discomfort, agreeing that the outfit was not suitable for a family-friendly environment.
Paige’s Defense
Paige defended her Disney Bound in a comment, stating:
“Hey yall this is a skort the shorts were just up my booty chillll.”
However, many commenters argued that the skort length was the main issue. @brookenbb replied,
“It’s still extremely short even with the shorts up your ass,”
while @cloudy_rose1 wrote,
“Even if it is a [skort]… still not appropriate…”
The TikTok Video
The controversy didn’t end there. Disney Parks fans were even more outraged by a TikTok video Paige posted, dancing in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. One Redditor, u/disneythrowaway1971, commented,
“Doing a dance to Thong Song in front of the castle… it’s quite the choice.”
Despite the backlash, some fans defended Paige’s outfit. @corabankspage commented,
“As a 36 yr florida resident… if you didn’t get kicked out… clearly you did nothing wrong. They are very quick to kick out anyone wearing inappropriate items. Ignore the hate.”
@genesisissss added,
“Her body, her money, her clothes, her life.”
